“Book directly with Hampton not thru Expedia they didn’t have my room booked but I got a confrontation notice reminder even the morning of my arrival. Never using Expedia again”

“As always, the Lake Lure Inn was a delight. They used to have continental breakfast but weren’t offering during this stay. Always enjoyed the continental breakfast and it added value to the many stays there. We look forward to its return. In its absence we thoroughly enjoyed delicious breakfasts at a fairly new restaurant called The 828.”

“Taking into consideration that the town is still pretty quiet and much is still not open due to Hurricane Helene, we had a pleasant stay. It was our anniversary weekend and I thought I had booked a room with a hot tub, but had not. The place was empty so I asked for an upgrade to the hot tub room, the website said there was availability and of course I was happy to pay any fees. “Everything was fine, good breakfast, staff was great, room was confortable and clean. 106 / 5.000 I can only say that the bathroom had not been swept well as I found a pill under the sink. But the rest was clean. ”

“Quiet, peaceful place, our deck felt like we were in a treehouse. Outstanding hosts, cabin was cozy but plenty of room for the two of us. Definitely a do-again.”

“Firehouse Inn is filled with olde world charm. Hand painted walls, claw foot chairs, Bose audio system for easy listening, TV and a fireplace in large living room. Dining area can seat multiple guests in comfort. The hospitality is amazing! Donna’s cooking skills are mouthwatering and Mary is the go to person to get you settled in. Our bedroom had a very comfortable bed, lounge chair with ottoman and spotless bathroom. Shower was large enough for two people 👍! Will definitely visit again.”

“An amazing stay in the beautifully quiet Blue Ridge mountains. Picturesque Lake Lure is only a short stroll away. Chef Richard prepares a wonderful gourmet breakfast each morning and this definitely not your basic B&B but all at very reasonable prices. Thank you all. I cant’t wait to return.”
